Our very helpful Colorado Association of Realtors has a fantastic website that is free to use by the public. It is a tremendous website, and I encourage all of my out of state buyers and out of area buyers to take a look.
I was just in a continuing education class this morning, and the trainer asked, "How many new listings did the Fort Collins area have last year?", "What was the median home price, compared to 2018?", "What did inventory look like?" We all had a good idea, but no concrete numbers.
These are the questions that home buyers and sellers ask us every day. They want to know how the economy is affecting housing in Northern Colorado, and if it is wise to buy a single family home, townhouse or condo, to rent, or to not even bother.
To use the site, go to https://www.coloradorealtors.com/ and click on the left-most tab, Market Trends. In Market Trends, a search can be done by county or congressional district, by time period. The latest one for January, for our neck of the woods, Larimer County, looks something like this graph below.
